We were looking out for an Enthusiastic candidate for the Accounts & Admin Assistant position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supporting in maintenance of Books of accounts
  • Assisting in complying with all the government & statutory requirements.
  • Assisting in managing cash and bank transactions
  • Assisting in preparation of Monthly statements
  • Assisting is preparing monthly and yearly budgets to help the management in cost control and reduction.
  • Assisting in tasks related to tracking and maintaining payment received from clients.
  • Assisting verification of Tutor and Employee salaries.
  • Keeping the vouchers up to date and maintain all the payment invoices.
  • Preparation of Documents for Softex monthly filing and related documentation
  • Visiting various government offices periodically
  • Maintaining/Handling purchases of Office equipment’s and accessories.
  • Maintaining FIRC's for foreign transactions

Key Skills:

  • knowledge of Financial accounting & Cost accounting (Tally ERP 9 knowledge can be an advantage)
  • Knowledge of MS office Tools especially Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
  • Good Communication skills in both English & Malayalam (Verbal & Written)
  • Should be proactive and must exhibit Multitasking skills and problem solving abilities.

Requirements :

  • Experience of 6 months to 1 yr in Accounting.
  • Should be willing to travel and liaison with various Govt offices.
  • Should posses a valid driving licence and an own vehicle.

Skills and Qualification

  • Good communication skills.
  • -MBA finance
  • Immediate joiners are preferred
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience

Job Responsibilities:

  • Updating & Preparation of accounting Vouchers – Cash, Bank & Journals
  • Complete day to day accounting procedures
  • Maintaining proper system & entries in accounting software
  • Experience in handling Zoho Books in an IT-based company will be an added advantage
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Prepare & Help management to prepare various reports Weekly, Monthly & yearly
  • Preparation of monthly payroll for the employees.
  • Possess experience with GST and Softex Filing of monthly and Annual Returns
  • Coordinate with the Audit team for quarterly Auditing.
  • Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
