Kisan Seva Kendra, was established in 1987, as the National Centre for Management of Agricultural Extension at CHANDIGARH, by the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India as an autonomous Institute. In recognition of its importance and expansion of activities all over the country, its status was elevated to that of a National Institute in 1992 and re-christened to its present name i.e., National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management. Kisan Seva Kendra is the Indian response to challenges of agricultural extension in a rapidly growing and diverse agriculture sector. The policies of liberalization and globalization of the economy and the level of agricultural technology becoming more sophisticated and complex, called for major initiatives towards reorientation and modernization of the agricultural extension system. Effective ways of managing the extension system needed to be evolved and extension organizations enabled to transform the existing set up through professional guidance and training of critical manpower. Kisan Seva kendra is the response to this imperative need.



Executive (Content)
Location:- At different locations.
Qualification:-
  • Minimum qualification is 10th and above in agriculture and allied subject.
  • Candidates having experience in extension work shall be given preference.
  • Basic knowledge of computer use is essential for this job.
Job Description:-
  1. Kisan seva kendra is involved in providing advisories for increasing farm production and enhancing income generating livelihood opportunities in rural India through use of mobile on day to day basis.
  2.  The selected candidate should be good enough in drafting relevant, accurate and authentic messages in the regional language and required to document the same in English language in computer application.
  3. Candidate shall also be responsible foranswering farmer’s quarries on helpline.The candidate should be well versed with the agriculture practices of the State.
CTC:-Rs. 17,946/- per Month (Negotiable)


Territory Manager (Marketing)

Location:-
 At different locations.

Qualification:-
  • Minimum qualification is Graduation and above in any subject.
  • Candidates having marketing experience shall be given preference.
  • Basic knowledge of computer use is essential for this job.
Job Description:-
  1. Visit to mandali and societies to obtain business;
  2. Arrange Gram Sabha’s;
  3. UB planning;
  4. Managing acquisition of MA, KisanMitra and Distributors;
  5. Sales Planning and execution;
  6. Stock Maintenance;
  7. Target allocation to MA ,KisanMitra and Distributors;
  8. PJP and claim submission as per policy;
  9. Identify and train potential MA’s to strengthen sales staff;
  10. Organisingactivities/ participation in Govt& Coop programmes/Krishimelas/ related planning.



Manager (Content)

Qualification:-
  1. Minimum qualification is Post Graduation.
  2. Candidates having 4 years or more experience in the field of marketingshall be given preference.
  3. Basic knowledge of computer use is essential for this job.
Job Description:-
  1. To obtain business and serve current customers by evaluating telecommunications competition;
  2. Establishing and meeting sales and revenue objectives;
  3. Controlling sales presentations;
  4. Building and expanding customers;
  5. Managing Sales Staff;
  6. Liaising with Government Officials ;
  7. Verifying and approving PJP of TM’s, MA’s ;
  8. Execution of policies framed by management;
  9. Community Formation, Quality acquisition of Farmer members;
  10. Controlling the recycle/barring/decay and maintaining REC Customers etc.
  11. Acquisition of MNP Activations;
  12. Developing and implementing monthly business strategic plan for community.
